Breast cancer project was founded by the professors and researchers of Nazarbayev University, and for the first time was funded in 2018 by the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the project “Development of an intelligent system for early breast tumor detection and cancer prediction”.






Further the breast cancer research was extended to the project “Application of artificial intelligence to complement thermography for breast cancer prediction” (AP08857347) and was funded by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

          


In 2023 the research was supported by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan under the project “Integrating Physics-Informed Neural Network, Bayesian and Convolutional Neural Networks for early breast cancer detection using thermography” (AP19678197)."
